For each new preparation always use a new cap, to ensure the correct success of the vacuum process.
The jar without cap is suitable for use in the microwave, taking care not to exceed the thermal delta of 42 C. High temperature changes can in fact cause the vessel to break.
Do not use in the traditional oven and on electric/induction plates.
The jar is suitable for washing in the dishwasher, the cap must be washed by hand without detergents.
